Mid-Ocean Ridges are responsible for producing many interesting landforms. Some of these landforms include the rift valley, down-drop blocks and sheeted dikes. The rift valley is the inner most part of the ridge where magma is extruded from the ridge. In the rift valley, there are down-drop blocks. Sheeted dikes are formed as dikes that bring the magma to the surface, however, as the two plates diverge, the dikes are pulled apart and a new dike forms in its place.
