- Description
- This rock contains quartz, plagioclase, garnet and chlorite. These minerals can be seen in the thin section photos. Given the mineral assemblage, I think the rock experienced intermediate grade metamorphism. The chlorite may have developed as a result of retrograde metamorphism.
