- The Zuni tribe is known for their rain bird motif, demonstrated on this jar. The art is more curvilinear than geometric, and the bird is symbolic of the rain that is hoped to be collected. This piece has very fine and detailed hatch marks, one of the hallmarks of a desirable Zuni pot.
