Description: This is a set of karuta for the 100 Patriotic Poems compiled in late 1942 and published by the Japanese government. These 200 cards feature full color illustrations, indigo border and consist of 100 recitation cards and 100 grabbing cards. The full poems and last two stanzas are printed in standard print kanji and hiragana.
