The Letters of David and John McDonogh

The timeline traces the correspondence between the John and David McDonogh and their contemporaries. The letters were collected from Lafayette College's own Special Collections, holdings at Tulane University and at the Presbyterian Historical Society of Philadelphia. The current project will expand the information collected here to begin mapping and transcribing the letters to create a broader picture of these two men and their social and professional ties in the U.S. and in Liberia.
