The Alamo is a small church outside San Antonio and was the sight of a battle between Texans and Mexican soldiers led by Santa Anna. Important American figures Jim Bowe and Davy Crocket died there.
Near the National Mall the memorial site consists of a long stone wall with many quotes from the King's speeches. The center of the memorial is a 30 foot stone relief carving of the King.
Established to commemorate the life and work of Chavez and the farm worker movement. Located on what used to be the headquarters of the United Farm Workers. It includes statues and Chavez's grave site.
