- HAM is the Czech Republic's Movement for Active Childbirth/Parenting. It first started in 1999. HAM is a home birth advocacy group that has staged demonstrations highlighting abuses of pregnant women's birth process in hospitals, and organized the first week for respect of childbirth. They state they are "dedicated to improving Czech Obstetrics" on their website
