Title: Alumina Saturation Index
Description: This alumina saturation index plot suggests that all of the samples from the Austral Cook Island Arc are Peraluminous. This suggests that the source rock/plume of these samples is already depleted, as incompatibles (including alkalis) have already escaped to a melt. I am surprise at the uniformity of these results! Although the superplume source is heterogeneous, it seems to all be depleted. Cool!
